Winners of the First EE Awards Asia Announced

ASPENCORE, the publisher of EE Times and EDN Taiwan and Asia, hosted yesterday in a grand ceremony the inaugural EE Awards Asia.

After more than a year of planning, ASPENCORE, the publisher of EE Times and EDN Taiwan and Asia, hosted yesterday the first EE Awards Asia in a grand ceremony. Around 200 electronics industry personality and representatives attended the awarding ceremony in person to celebrate the outstanding companies, products, and achievements in the electronics industry.

There were four major EE Awards Asia categories, with a total of 27 sub-categories: company awards, product awards, startup awards, and people awards, both for Taiwan and Asia regions. The company awards include key application-oriented works such as the Internet of Vehicles (IOV)/Electric Vehicles (EV), Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial Automation, Energy-saving Semiconductors, and Components, while the product awards include the best radio frequency/wireless IC (RF/Wireless IC), microcontroller (MCU), power (Power IC), EDA/IP, and test and measurement equipment and systems. There were also the “Outstanding EE Professional” award and “Executive of the Year” award.

EE Awards Asia opened for registration in early April. It has gathered more than 300 entries from 133 companies around the world. The online voting has received great support from the reader communities of EE Times and EDN in Taiwan and Asia, with nearly 10,000 online users participating in the voting process.

The following are the list of this year’s winners, for Asia and for Taiwan.
