Both of the needs are supported by Taitien Electronics Co. Ltd’s ultra-low phase jitter OA-U series of clock oscillators.
The OA-U series, which may be specified at an any frequency from 100MHz up to 175MHz, can operate at temperatures up to 125°C. With typical phase jitter of 50fs at 156.25MHz, Taitien’s OA-U series is the ideal clock solution for high-speed serial applications such as network switching, optical communications and storage area networks (SAN). The miniature 3.2×2.5 mm SMD package also enables more compact system designs and lower total cost.
Leveraging Taitien’s vertical integration production of quartz wafers and low phase noise oscillation circuit design technology, the newly launched OA-U series further strengthens the product performance of Taitien’s crystal and oscillator solutions. The OA-U series is available from 100MHz to 175MHz with the phase jitter of 100fs rms, maximum. There are three logic outputs—LVPECL, LVDS and CML—and the supply voltages of 2.5V and 3.3V. The frequency stability maybe specified as tight as ±25ppm over -40°C to 85°C, or ±50ppm over -40°C to 125°C.
