Solar inverters hit $2.4B in 2008

The global solar inverter market reached $2.4 billion in 2008, more than double the 2007 market, according to IMS Research, with several companies associated with industries such as UPS, power supplies and motor drives have transferring their expertise to the PV inverter market.
