Biometric module recognizes veins, fingerprints

Sagem Sécurité and Hitachi have teamed up to develop a multimode biometric recognition module. Developed and produced by Sagem Sécurité, this module will combine Hitachi's vein imaging technology (VeinID) and Sagem Sécurité's fingerprint identification technology (Morpho).
