Mobile wireless biz sprouts from ST-Ericsson JV

STMicroelectronics and Ericsson have closed their agreement that merges Ericsson Mobile Platforms and ST-NXP Wireless into a 50/50 joint venture. The new company is designed for long-term stability, and is set on performing product research, design and development.
