RJ-45 plug-in connector works with Fast, Gigabit Ethernet

Tyco Electronics Ltd has introduced an RJ-45 plug-in connector for Fast and Gigabit Ethernet. Designed for a transmission rate from 100Mbit/s (4-pin) to 1,000Mbit/s (8-pin), it is ideal for industrial automation and thereby suitable for Ethernet systems such as SafetyNET p.
