Low-cost STB platform boosts Brazil's TV viewing

Proview will be using ST's MPEG decoder technology in its new XPS-1000 digital terrestrial STB. The new STi7101 low-cost HDTV MPEG2 / H264 single chip video decoder will retail for about $180, bringing affordable digital TV to every Brazilian household.
