CECT, VIA partner on CDMA handsets

China-based mobile phone manufacturer CEC Telecom Co. Ltd (CECT), a subsidiary of Qiao Xing Mobile Communication Co. Ltd, has entered into a strategic cooperation with Taiwan core logic chipset supplier VIA Technologies Inc.
