Nichia, Semi-Photonics settle patent case

[Summary of tips] Nichia Corp. and Semi-Photonics Co. Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SemiLEDs Corp. USA, have settled the patent case (Case No. Hei 19 (wa) 10399) before the Osaka District Court on March 3, 2009. Semi-Photonics has withdrawn the above case as a result of the settlement.
