News Blast is a convenient way to keep yourself updated on new products and/or industry news and trends. News Blast is delivered to you by e-mail the same day industry and product information is posted on Electronic Engineering Times – Asia. By setting your technology/industry preferences, you receive updates only for the news in which you are interested.

How do I register?
You can start receiving the News Blast by filling out the online registration form. You will be asked to choose a username, a password, and a security question and answer. While registering for this service, you can also choose to apply for a FREE subscription of the Electronic Engineering Times – Asia magazine. To register now, go to the News Blast Registration page.

You will be updated whenever industry and product news that goes online matches your preferences. The frequency of news delivery will depend on the type of news and technology categories you signed up for as well as a host of other factors.

Is there a limit to the number of technology categories for which I can sign up?
You can register for as many technology categories as you need. Just hold down the "Ctrl" key when clicking on individual categories to add them to your list. Keep in mind that the more categories you choose, the more e-mail you will receive.

Does it matter what software I use to read e-mail?
As long as your e-mail software can display plain text, reading News Blast updates will not be a problem. If your e-mail software displays Web addresses (URLs) as hyperlinks, you will be able to link directly to the relevant news item with a single click. Eudora 3.0, Netscape Mail, and Internet Explorer 3.0 and above all have this feature. If your e-mail software does not have this feature, simply copy the URL below the headline and paste it into your Web browser's Location/Address box.

If you cannot remember your username/password, you can go to the Update Profile page and click on the Forgot your password link. You will need to give us the e-mail address you supplied us during registration and correctly answer the security question you chose. Once we have verified your e-mail address and the answer to the security question, we will e-mail you your username and password.

You might have entered your password in a different case when you first registered. Try entering your password in a different case. Because passwords are case-sensitive, the password "enter" is different from "Enter" or "ENTER". To help you remember your password, write it exactly the way you first typed it in and keep it for reference.
