Description
Demonstration circuit 771 is a high voltage 500mA, 200KHz buck converter with burst mode featuring the LT3437IDD. The board produces 3.3V for loads as high as 400mA from an input range of 4.5 to 60Vin. The circuit is also able to operate with up to 80V input transients for up to 100 milliseconds. DC771 also demonstrates the burst mode operation of the LT3437, which maintains efficiency over a wide output current range. Burst mode can be optionally disabled by setting a jumper on the board. Test points are provided for easy access to the shutdown and external frequency synchronization of the LT3437.
