Goepel, Pansino forge test system partnership in Asia
Test and inspection systems vendor Goepel electronic GmbH and China-based Pansino Solutions cemented a partnership on application development and practical implementations of JTAG/Boundary Scan solutions and their integration into existing test systems.
The collaboration expands Goepel's GATE programme, which stands for Goepel Associated Technical Experts. This programme is aimed at the application-specific transfer of Goepel's JTAG/Boundary Scan product portfolio into the most diversified basis of customer-specific test instruments through a close collaboration. Towards this end, Goepel facilitates the availability of test-focused ESA (Embedded System Access) technologies to engineers.
JTAG/Boundary Scan tests within the circuit and detects structural fault locations by setting thousands of test points with only four test bus lines, according to Goepel. The system features an architecture that consists of controller, TAP transceiver, and I/O module. Goepel gives emphasis to the interaction of these components to deliver its signature "testing at the periphery (boundaries) of a circuit."

The GATE programme embraces three performance levels, with Centre of Expertise (CoE) being the highest. PanSino Solutions, Goepel's latest GATE partner, works at the CoE level and represents a strategic development partner for the German technology company.
PanSino Solutions is headquartered in Beijing and runs subsidiaries in Shanghai, Chengdu, and Shenzhen. Offering test and measurement solutions as well as professional test equipment for a broad range of industries, PanSino has its sweet spot in the aerospace and automotive industries. Besides maintaining several R&D centres, the company offers local support in 20 cities in China.
