Keywords:Brushless DC  BLDC  Freescale  Kinetis  MKV10x

This application note explains the setup and tuning of various three-phase Brushless DC (BLDC) motors. This application is based on Freescale's 32bit Kinetis MKV10x device. Application software uses Motor Control Application Tuning Tool (MCAT) to easily tune various motors in very short time.

The concept of the application is a speed closed-loop motor control algorithm using Back-EMF voltage integration method for sensorless motor control.
