Broadband amplifiers feature gain range of 32dB to 48dB
Pasternack Enterprises, Inc. has launched a of 1W and 2W broadband amplifiers for applications with frequencies ranging from 2GHz to 18GHz.
The medium power�broadband amplifiers�utilise a hybrid microwave integrated circuit design and advanced GaAs pHEMT technology. Other features include built-in voltage regulation, bias sequencing, and reverse bias protection. The devices also have an over-voltage protection that is installed externally, allowing easy repair.

The amplifiers are matched internally for 50Ω input and output, eliminating the need for any additional sensitive external RF tuning components.�They housed in hermetically sealed modules and operate from -55°C to 85°C.
The selection of amplifiers provides options for gain levels, frequency ranges and power outputs. It has a gain range of 32dB to 48dB, gain flatness of ±1dB to ±2dB, frequency range of 12GHz to 18GHz, and high linearity levels (IP3) of 39dBm to 42dBm.
