TC7SPB9306/07TU bus switches

Toshiba Electronics Europe is offering a new series of CMOS bus switches that provide an ultracompact solution for bi-directional voltage translation and efficient isolation between host and peripheral ICs.

Driven by the trend of continuously lowering core voltages the TC7SPB9306/07TU 1bit bus switches can be connected to two independent power supplies, with the A-side supporting voltages from VCCA = 1.65V to 5V and the B-side supporting voltages from VCCB = 2.3V to 5.5V. By combining the bus switch with external pull-up resistors designers can easily implement bi-directional interfacing between low voltage systems as low as 1.8V and high voltage systems up to 5V. A choice of active high OE (output enable) and active low OE is available with the TC7SBP9306TU and TC7SBP9307TU, respectively.

The new switches operate with a very low ON resistance (RON) of only 5Ω and quiescent current of only 1µA. Every pin in the device is equipped with ESD protection according to Machine Model and Human Body Model of at least 200V and 2000V respectively. Additionally, OE and I/O pins are equipped with power down protection.

Supplied in ultra-miniature UF6 surface mount packaging, the 1bit dual supply bus switch has dimensions of just 2mm x 1.7mm x 0.7mm.
