Thin-films enable implantable drugs-on-a-chip

Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have developed thin-films that can enable implantable pharmacies-on-a-chip that use electric fields to dispense drugs on-demand, rather than depend on patients remembering to take their meds.
