Belden rolls out new industrial Ethernet cables

Belden has expanded its line of DataTuff Industrial Ethernet cables with the addition of three enhanced 4-pair, Category 5e twisted pair cables. All Belden industrial Ethernet cables are designed to withstand harsh industrial and environmental conditions including sunlight, temperature variations, oil and gasoline, crushing and abrasion.

The new DataTuff cabling products, which feature Belden's Bonded-Pair technology, include part numbers 7935A, 7936A and 7937A.

The 7935A product is a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH), unshielded, Enhanced Cat 5e EtherNet/IP compliant cable featuring 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors with rip cord, polyolefin insulation, and a .030-inch industrial grade, sunlight-resistant, black LSZH jacket. The cable is rated NEC/CEC: CM FT1.

The LSZH, shielded, Enhanced Cat 5e EtherNet/IP compliant cable, designated as product number 7936A, features 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors with 24 AWG stranded TC drain wire, overall Beldfoil shield, polyolefin insulation, and a .030-inch industrial grade, sunlight-resistant, black LSZH jacket. The cable is rated NEC/CEC: CMR/CMG FT4.

Product number 7937A is a waterblocked/burial, shielded enhanced Cat 5e cable that features 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors with 24 AWG stranded TC drain wire, PE inner jacket, overall Beldfoil shield, and sunlight- and oil-resistant black PE jacket. The halogen-free cable is fully waterblocked per Telcordia, IEC and ICEA and suitable for burial applications.

List prices are: 7936A, $.57/ft; 7937A, $.447/ft; and, 7935A, $.37/ft. All are available from stock.
