Rectangular LED chips enable thinner displays

The elongated chips from BridgeLux, available in 0.254-by-0.457mm and 0.254-by-0.584mm sizes, feature a rectangular shape, enabling thinner displays for mobile phones, PDAs, digital still cameras, MP3 players and notebook PCs.
