LSI compatible with SD CPRM

Seiko Epson Corp. announced a new SD memory card host interface LSI compatible with SD CPRM. The new S7R72E01 LSI controls SD memory cards compatible with CPRM copyright protection technology for digital audio systems, enabling easy construction of SD-Audio/SD-Video/SD-Binding systems, said the press release. In addition to allowing the construction of environments offering total protection for confidential information, this new LSI is guaranteed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to 85°C.
