CMD expands wafer foundry resources with support from Epson

In a move to expand its foundry resources to support expected continued growth, California Micro Devices has completed its wafer supply agreement with Seiko Epson Corp. (Epson). The deal engages Japan-based Epson foundry as a high volume wafer manufacturing resource for CMD's ICs targeting the mobile handset, PC and digital consumer electronics markets.
