Sipex Corp.'s SP7653, the newest addition to the company's PowerBlox series of ultraminiature buck regulator ICs, runs at the highest switching frequency in the family to cut overall real-estate requirements by 60 to 70 percent (thanks to a much smaller inductor) compared to its closest family member.
