Cypress acquires CMOS image sensor provider

Cypress Semiconductor Corp. has signed and closed a definitive agreement to acquire SMaL Camera Technologies, a designer of digital imaging solutions for consumer applications, such as ultra-slim digital still cameras, automotive vision systems, and cellphone cameras.
