Infineon, Samsung team on Linux smartphone design

Infineon Technologies AG and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd announced Friday (Feb. 11) they have teamed to develop what the companies claim is the first UMTS/EDGE smartphone reference design based on the Linux operating system.
