Hynix board kills deal with Micron

Hynix Semiconductor Inc.'s Board of Directors unanimously rejected the proposed sale of its core memory operations to Micron Technology Inc. on Tuesday, killing the deal that would have brought badly needed consolidation to the DRAM industry.
