Tokin to acquire NEC's electronic components business

NEC Corp. and Tokin Corp. have signed a definitive agreement whereby NEC will divide and transfer its electronic components manufacturing and marketing business, which consists of capacitors, batteries and relays to Tokin, effective April 1, 2002.
