FiberCore, IDC to build single-mode fiber plant in South Africa

FiberCore Inc. has signed an agreement with Industrial Development Corp. (IDC) to build a $28 million, joint-venture manufacturing facility for single-mode optical fibers in Cape Town, South Africa.
