An embedded chip for USB application: From the architecture to implementation

The architecture of the embedded USB chip is discussed in this paper. It can be noted that the MMU and the USB memory buffer play an important role in the data transmission and reception. A clear understanding of the memory operation can provide an easier way to develop an effective USB firmware code, as the firmware code is increasingly demanding a faster response to USB transactions and smaller code size.
